On Friday, November 13, 2009 from 6 to 8 pm 
Hartford Open Studio Weekend 2009
will kick off it's 20th annual event with a gala opening at the Artspace Gallery with a theme of 20/20. Visitors vote as artists compete for prizes including "People's Choice" and "Best Reflection of Theme". 

Then a wonderful assortment of artists from the greater Hartford area will open their studios to the public for a self-guided tour 
Saturday November 14 and Sunday November 15 from 11 to 5. 
This is a unique opportunity to meet artists and artisans and see their work in the locations where it is created. Each year this event is held by Artists in Real Time a non-profit organization which seeks to enable visitors to enjoy local artwork and get a glimpse of the creative process.

We are seeking Hartford area artists who will open their studios and be part of the weekend tour. We will also have a very limited amount of spaces to host area artists.

fees are as follows:

apply and pay during June = $50.

                          during July = $60.

                       during August = $70.
